Cardiac Emotions Study
Sarah Tomoyo Clarke - Australian Centre for Health Health
The Cardiac Emotions Study is interested in learning more about the emotional difficulties involved in people living with cardiac conditions. It is hoped this knowledge will assist patients and health professionals to identify areas of concern for patients, and therefore help more cardiac patients in the future adjust successfully after their heart illness or operation.
Researchers are looking for a range of cardiac patients to take part in the study. ACRA members and CR services are asked to promote the study to their patients, by either providing patients with the flyer or displaying the flyer in patient facing areas so people are able to scan the QR code. Patients who are interested in the study would complete a once-off, de-identified, 20 minute survey, either online or through requesting a hardcopy questionnaire pack from the centre.
