ACRA 2020 ASM
On behalf of the Organising Committee for the 30th Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) of the Australian Cardiovascular Health and Rehabilitation Association (ACRA), it gives us great pleasure to invite you to an exciting educational conference. In these unprecedented times, the ACRA executive has decided to shift the 2020 annual scientific meeting (ASM) from a traditional face-to-face event, to an interactive online event.
Everyone at ACRA have been closely following the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact on healthcare professionals and the community. ACRA is committed to prioritising the safety and well-being of our members, of whom many are front line workers.
As the pandemic rapidly evolves and challenges our normal way of life, we have made the difficult but important decision to change the ASM to an online event to comply with the health regulations currently in place to limit the spread of the virus.
ACRA is committed to delivering this event to our members and community, and plan to hold the ASM on the original dates (August 10 – 12, 2020), however this will be subject to regular review and potential change as necessary.
The organising committee is now busy working on a new innovative and interactive online conference that will provide support, education and some virtual interaction at a time when many other professional development events are being cancelled. We also thank all those that submitted abstracts.
