On behalf of the Organising Committee for the 32nd Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) of the Australian Cardiovascular Health and Rehabilitation Association (ACRA), it gives us great pleasure in extending to you the opportunity to join us as a valued sponsor for the ACRA 2023 ASM.

 

This meeting will be held at the University of Western Australia Club, Crawley, WA from

Monday 31^st July 2023 to Wednesday 2^nd August 2023.

 

For over 30 years ACRA has been the peak national body for representing health professionals involved in cardiovascular health care and secondary prevention. Today we comprise of nearly 500 members nationally.

ACRA’s mission is to provide support and advocacy for multidisciplinary health professionals to deliver evidence-based best practice across the continuum of cardiovascular care. As a not-for-profit organisation, we are dedicated to supporting research and continuing professional development. As a lead organisation in cardiovascular health ACRA has authored pathways and guidelines for cardiac rehabilitation, and actively participates in national committees in cardiovascular disease management.

 

The 2023 Conference Committee is working on an innovative program with the emphasis on DIVERSITY, EQUITY & ACCESS. Our program committee members have been specially selected for their vast knowledge and experience. From academia through to lived experience, each member offers a unique insight into the challenges and opportunities to provide evidence-based, holistic, person-centred care that is accessible and equitable to all diverse and marginalised people with heart disease.

 

Our program is carefully curated for health professionals and industry workers to share best practice, encourage multi-sectoral collaboration, facilitate meaningful connections, and give real solutions to improve cardiac rehabilitation and secondary prevention in all age groups and genders, to include Aboriginal communities, rural and remote areas and to those with disabilities, mental health and intend to have sessions considering the wellbeing of the workforce.

The 2023 ASM will host international and nationally renowned guest speakers. The ASM is the Association’s major forum for the exchange of ideas and for discussion around clinical and research issues, including the latest developments in the prevention and management of cardiovascular disease. The meeting will be highly interactive, making extensive use of social media prior, during and after the event.

 

This prospectus outlines the exciting sponsorship and exhibition opportunities available to you to promote your company and increase its profile to a diverse group of 160 to 200 health professionals working in cardiovascular care. There will be a wide range of packages available to you to assist you to promote your business. To maximise exposure the trade exhibition will be located in the area where delegates will congregate for morning, afternoon teas and lunches each day and where our poster displays will be located.

 

Social functions at the meeting include a Welcome Reception on Monday 31^st July and the ASM Gala Dinner on the evening of Tuesday 2nd August 2023.
