ICCPR Credentialing

Welcome to the ACRA-Funded International Council  of Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation; Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Foundations Certification Program (ICCPR; CRFC)

The ACRA-Funded ICCPR CRFC aims to achieve certification in accordance with international standards for a maximum number of Cardiac Rehabilitation clinicians and programs across Australia. Specifically designed for clinicians, this program offers comprehensive training and certification to enhance the quality and efficacy of cardiac rehabilitation services nationwide.

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for participation in the ACRA-funded ICCRP CRFC program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. ACRA Membership Requirement: Applicants must be full member of ACRA for at least 12 months. Note: applicants from any occupation are welcome to apply; clinician status is not a requirement.
  1. Certificate Training Completion: Participants are required to successfully complete the certificate training within a timeframe of 6 months.
  1. Feedback Form Submission: The ICCPR feedback form must be submitted within 3 months following the completion of the training. Additional follow up feedback might be required.
  2. Marketing Feedback Authorisation: Applicants should grant permission for ACRA and SOLVE-CHD to utilise the provided feedback for marketing purposes.

Fulfillment of these eligibility criteria is essential for consideration and participation in the ACRA-funded ICCRP CRFC program.

Program Timeline:

The program operates on a structured timeline consisting of three rounds of Expression of Interest (EOI) submissions:

  • August 2024
  • November 2024
  • March 2025

Application Process:

  • Membership eligibility of each applicant will be checked & verified
  • The successful applicant list  will be provided to ICCPR
  • Each applicant  will receive instructional links from ICCPR
  • ICCPR will send feedback forms to applicant for completion.
