Climate
Throughout August the average daytime temperatures in Sydney are a temperate 14°C. Despite it being winter, high temperatures in the city still regularly hit 18°C. Average minimum temperatures generally tend to hover around 9°C, so carrying warm clothing would be advisable at night.

The ACRA Annual Scientific Meeting 2019 will be held in the beautiful leafy surburb of Kirribilli in North Sydney. There are a multitude of accommodation options from luxury hotels, apartments and bed and breakfasts all within walking distance of the ACRA 2019 venue, the Kirribilli Club. If you prefer to stay in the Sydney CBD, Kirribilli is a short train (10 minute) ride on the Northern Sydney line. The nearest station to the Kirribilli Club is Milsons Point.
