Sea World Resort and Conference Centre
ACRA 2022 will be held entirely at the Sea World Resort and Conference Centre. It is set on an idyllic waterfront location between the Broadwater and the Pacific Ocean, adjacent to the Sea World theme park. It will be the your one-stop-shop for all of the conference sessions and social functions throughout the ASM.
A special conference rate at Sea World Resort has been secured for all delegates attending the ACRA 2022 ASM. You will be able to choose from a range of accommodation from Resort rooms to Premium view rooms. All rooms offer free WIFI as well as a balcony or patio to soak up the Gold Coast sun and with the beach opposite the Resort, you may want to enjoy a beautiful walk and unwind after the conference.

Climate
Despite it being winter, daytime temperatures on the Gold Coast during August usually reach a beautiful 21°C. Typically, the weather in August is clear and warm during the day and slightly cooler during the nights. There is very little chance of rain, which means it’s the perfect time to get out and explore the best of the Gold Coast. Minimum temperatures generally tend to hover around 13°C, so carrying warm clothing would be advisable at night.
Airports
The Gold Coast is serviced by two major airports. Gold Coast Airport is conveniently located 30 minutes from the city centre and offers extensive domestic and international services. Direct flights to and from all Australian capital cities and regional areas, plus the majority of metropolitan centres across the globe are readily available. Brisbane Domestic and International Airport is less than one hour’s drive north from the city centre via the M1. Brisbane International Airport is open 24 hours a day and currently has more than 3,500 direct international flights per week to and from major destinations. brisbaneairport.com.au
Transfers
Airtrain transports passengers to and from the Brisbane Domestic and International Airport to four Gold Coast stations: Helensvale, Nerang, Robina and Varsity Lakes. Airtrains run every 15 minutes during peak periods.
Con-X-ion provide the most frequent and direct shuttle transfer service to and from Gold Coast and Brisbane Airports to accommodation houses or local residences.
Limousine transfers are also available.
