Under 40 and living with a heart condition: challenges, opportunities and support needs

The Heart Foundation is running a free forum for health professionals who work with young people living with a heart condition, or recovering from heart surgery. This special event will explore the particular issues and concerns that affect this group at such a critical life stage and showcase initiatives developed by Heart Foundation and others to help young people better manage their physical and emotional health.

Featured speakers include:

• Associate Professor Dr Rosemary Higgins, cardiac health psychologist – The University of Melbourne, Deakin University, Australian Centre for Heart Health

• Launch of new young hearts digital stories
