There are no specific accreditations, qualifications or professional requirements to work in cardiac rehabilitation in Australia. However, most institutions/organisations will require current CPR certification and basic/advanced life support training at a minimum.

ACRA also recommends that staff have cardiac  clinical experience and cardiac specific  post graduate qualifications in their profession,  have undergone training with the staff who currently work in the program and upskill as required.
